At Kames, she built the sustainable investment firm’s indirect property team and managed several property funds. Her 20-year career also spans time at Goodman and Aviva. BennBridge Stephen Deane, Nicholas Cowley, Ian Tabberer, Michael Cahoon and Ronan Kelleher join Skerryvore as portfolio managers, and Ben Lawson joins as head of dealing. The London and New York-based BennBridge is a subsidiary of Bennelong Funds Management Group , the Australian investment house which provides a variety of investment solutions globally and manages assets of around $8 billion through a network of subsidiaries - standing at 11 boutique firms currently. Glen Finegan, managing partner at Skerryvore, said of the new emerging markets team: “I have worked with all six of them in the past, and they share a dedicated investment focus and knowledge”. Dimensional Dallmer brings to the role two decades of senior leadership experience in global financial operations. She has served as COO of global technology and operations for BlackRock in New York, COO of European Markets for NYSE Euronext in Paris, and vice president of tech for startup Archipelago, which was acquired by the New York Stock Exchange. Most recently, she served as a strategic advisor to CEOs on fintech solutions.
UK wealth manager Investec Wealth & Investment has appointed Alex Barrell as divisional director at new offices planned for Bristol's Temple Quay in January 2020. The group has decided to move its Bath operations as part of a broader regional expansion that includes tapping into Bristol's vibrant business culture. Barrell previously headed the Bristol office for Brewin Dolphin and will lead a team of 22 that will also cover clients in the Bath area. The full Bath advisory team will be moving to the new premises, the firm said.
Sarah Cockburn is joining Schroders as head of Schroder Real Estate Capital Partners, where she will oversee the £4 billion indirect real estate business and join the group’s indirect investment committee. She takes up the post on 6 January and will report to Nick Montgomery, head of UK real estate investment.
Specialising in fund manager partnerships, boutique investment firm BennBridge has hired six senior executives to join its newly minted emerging markets business at Skerryvore Asset Management. BennBridge partnered with Skerryvore in October, and most of the new team will move from Janus Henderson.
Dimensional Fund Advisors has named Lisa Dallmer as its new chief operating officer. She will serve on the executive committee and partner with senior leaders of the corporate, sales and marketing, and investment teams to develop and implement operational strategies.
